If you have a delivery service preference (Australia Post or Courier), please advise at time of purchase, or via email immediately following purchase. We will attempt to fulfil all service preferences, however, preference is subject to product and delivery location.
All items on offer for purchase from Switch Boss Pty Ltd are stocked and dispatched from a warehouse in Brisbane, QLD, Australia.
All purchases are generally dispatched same day, or 1 business day following clearing of full payment. To ensure same day dispatch, orders must be placed before 1pm. If there is an issue with your order (invalid address, invalid payment, missing details), you will be notified via email and your order placed on hold until we receive a response.
We can send your item to any valid street address registered with Australian Post. This includes PO Boxes within Australia, but not Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect addresses. If you wish to have your purchase delivered to a PO Box, please only include 'PO Box' followed by; your PO Box Number, Correct Suburb and Post Code in the respective fields of the checkout. A PO Box number is considered a Street Address. No other information is required.
Due to support changes from Australia Post, we cannot deliver to Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect addresses.
Unfortunately we do not offer a Pick Up Service. We have Free Shipping on all products Australia Wide, and if you're local, postage generally only takes a couple of days. We also offer flat rate Express Post shipping on all products, Australia Wide.
*Please Note: While the vast majority of orders will be delivered within 2-7 Business Days (depending on location), we do allow for a maximum of 10 Business Days for free delivery to all locations with Australia - Due to the latest peak period delivery updates offered via Australia Post. For WA, NT and Rural customers, we generally allow for up to 10 business days for free delivery at all times. Delivery times are specified for original delivery attempt, and does not included if re-delivery/pick-up has to be arranged. Delivery times are estimated from the next business date following dispatch.
All orders are sent without signature required on delivery, unless specifically requested in the Check-Out. If the receiver requires/prefers signature at time of delivery, please ensure you advise of this in the Special Instructions section of the Cart when using the Check-Out, prior to payment. Alternatively, please Contact Us immediately following order placement to notify us of your delivery signature requirement.
As all deliveries are handled by 3rd party companies, unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery dates.
Buyers will be able to track the delivery online with a unique tracking number for order sent with tracking.
For consignments of notably small items and/or quantities within Australia, we utilize delivery via Australia Post's untracked service. For products that are sent via the available untracked service, we strongly recommend these be delivered to a PO Box or residential address, as they often cannot be delivered to business address without a specific letterbox or redirection service in place. If you wish to use a service with tracking for these orders, please selected the Tracked Shipping option.
Buyers have full responsibility to provide Switch Boss with a full and complete address. In cases of an incorrectly supplied address/delivery information:
- Prior to Dispatch: We may be able to update your order with correct delivery address information. This cannot be guaranteed as your order may already be in transit prior to you receiving a shipment notification. Please contact us as soon as possible.
- Post-Dispatch: We cannot change the delivery address, or attempt redirection once a parcel has been dispatched. We recommend either contacting the Postage Service, or organizing pick up from the supplied delivery address. If your purchase gets returned to us, it will be processed as per our Returns and Refunds Policy, which can be found in the footer of our website. A re-stocking fee will apply.
We are currently utilizing Australia Post and Courier services. If you have a service/delivery preference, please note this in the checkout Special Instructions, or Contact Us immediately following order confirmation. We will attempt to fulfill all service preferences, however, preference is subject to product size and delivery location.
Australia Post Consignments:
All orders sent via Australia Post do not require a signature and will be left in a safe place, where safe to do so (generally your mail box, or out of sight at front door), determined by Australia Post. If the parcel cannot be left safely, they will place a card at your door or letterbox, indicating the item will be available for Pick Up from your local Post Office. This is as per Australia Post parcel policy for these items.
If you require/prefer a signature on delivery, please note this specifically at the Check-Out.
All orders outside of Brisbane (SEQ) placed with Express Shipping will be sent via Australia Post's Express Shipping Service.
Due to support changes from Australia Post, we cannot deliver to Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect addresses.
Courier Consignments:
All orders sent via a Courier service do not require a signature and will be left in a safe place, where safe to do so (generally your mail box, or out of sight at front door), determined by the delivering courier. If the parcel cannot be left safely, they will place a card at your door or letterbox, indicating the item will be available for Pick Up from your local depot, or re-delivery may take place.
If you require/prefer a signature on delivery, please note this specifically at the Check-Out.
All orders inside of Brisbane/SEQ placed with Express Shipping will be sent via Same/Next Day Express Courier Services. Same day Courier services are subject to availability, delivery zone (SEQ Only), and for eligible orders placed before 10am AEST on business days.
Courier deliveries are not available for PO Box addresses.

Consignment Insurance and Consignment Transit Cover:
Consignment Transit Cover - Switch Boss CTC
All consignments are covered in the case of packages deemed lost in transit - This is referred to as Switch Boss CTC (Switch Boss Consignment Transit Cover). This coverage is covered either in part, or in full, by Switch Boss Pty Ltd, depending on the advised insurance covered supplied by our logistics partners. This cover will cover a full resend (or refund, case specific) for valid claims. In all cases, Switch Boss Pty Ltd will organize and attend to all insurance claims directly, with only limited assistance required from the receiver (in some cases), in the event of a claim.
Switch Boss CTC is valid from initial lodgement with the advised logistics carry carrier, and is valid until tracking confirmation of receipt by the receiving party. This transit can be extended if required, if tracking indications need to be verified by Proof Of Delivery (POD) imagery, and/or GPS Delivery Data supplied by the delivering party. If Proof Of Delivery imagery and/or GPS Delivery Data confirm correct delivery, the transit cover will expire.
Switch Boss CTC WILL apply to the following consignments;
- Switch Boss is advised by official notice from delivery company of consignment classed as "Missing In Transit" or similar definition
- Consignments (within Australia) without a tracking update listed for 14 business days AND have reached a total of 21 business days in transit
- Consignments (within Australia) listed as "Missing In Transit" or similar definition on their respective online tracking updates
Switch Boss CTC WILL NOT apply to the following consignments;
- Consignments (within Australia) that have an on-going investigation, claim, ticket (or similar) as supplied by the delivering party
- Consignments, where online Tracking, Proof of Delivery (POD) imagery, Signature and/or GPS Delivery Data has confirmed correct delivery
- Consignments where an incorrect delivery address was supplied, and delivery to the supplied address is confirmed
- Consignments where a Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect Address was supplied. We request specifically in our check-out not to supply Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect addresses. This is due to the high fault rate and limit support we have previously experienced with these types of delivery addresses.
Consignment Insurance - Switch Boss CI
We pack orders to the highest standard to avoid the risk of damage during transit, however, we understand external environment factors and process relating to logistics movements always pose a risk to our packages and their physical condition. For this reason, we have insurance coverage on all our consignments dispatched from our warehouse.
All consignments are covered in the case of damage, where notable damage as been caused to any supplied product - This is referred to as Switch Boss CI (Switch Boss Consignment Insurance). This coverage is covered either in part, or in full, by Switch Boss Pty Ltd, depending on the advised insurance covered supplied by our logistics partners. This cover will cover a full resend (or refund, case specific) for valid claims. In all cases, Switch Boss Pty Ltd will organize and attend to all insurance claims directly, however, assistance will be required from the receiver, in the case of damaged items
For consignments advised of any transit damage - please advise us within 24 hours of receipt, indicated by tracking information, with imagery of the product concerned and packaging. If we can determine via this imagery (and imagery supplied by the delivery party via Proof Of Delivery image), this is transit damage, we may be able to replace this without the need for claim or return. For transit damage advised of outside of 24 hours of receipt, we must process a full Warranty Claim, to determine the damage.
